Magic Look for Revenge on Pacers After Pitiful Game Against Boston
Leading off from a valiant – but fruitless – first round playoff series in 2011 against the Chicago Bulls, the Indiana Pacers have come roaring back to begin the 2011-2012 season. The team is experiencing its best starting record in the previous eight seasons, but they still struggle when facing the better teams in the league.
But the Orlando Magic are a tough opponent that are 11-5 on the season at this point. Also, recent history is clearly favoring Orlando. The Magic have won over the Pacers in Indiana in every one of the previous three meetings of the two.
Both organizations come into this matchup with a 7-3 record over their previous ten contests. The Pacers have a 5-0 home record so far, while the Magic are 5-3 away from home. Expect Orlando to make a surprisingly strong showing after their pitiful 87-56 blowout to the Boston Celtics a few days ago.
